To truly improve on the already excellent sound quality of the M11, the M11 Pro SS employs two carefully implemented AK4497EQ DAC chips based on the AKM VELVET AUDIO architecture. Compared to the AK4493EQ, the AK4497EQ brings better specs and actually noticeable improved sound quality.

With the fully balanced THX AAA amplifier, the sound quality just gets even more amazing. The op-amps that are a part of the dual THX AAA-78 balanced amplifier architecture deliver extremely powerful output to easily drive most headphones. And using the same power supply, compared to typical amplifier, the THX AAA amplifier gives a more powerful output while being more efficient, resulting in less noise and distortion for a more precise yet natural sound.

MQA Decoding for truly lossless playback 

The M11 Pro SS supports decoding MQA tracks in 8x mode. MQA encoded tracks can deliver ultra-high resolution lossless playback for stunning quality while only taking up tiny amounts of space - meaning you can carry more with you on the go. 

*MQA decoding currently only supports by the FiiO Music app. Future firmware upgrades will allow MQA decoding on third-party applications.

Dual independent crystal oscillators in an all-new upgraded clock system

Inside the M11 Pro SS lies two independent low phase noise crystal oscillators from Japan-based River electet, which when working together with FiiO's own self-developed FPGA greatly reduces any distortion when doing any audio processing and ensures the purity of audio signals in general, for further improvement to the sound. 

Pushing the boundaries of wireless Hi-Fi

M11 Pro SS can transmit the SBC/aptX/aptX HD/LDAC/LHDC Bluetooth format as well as receive certain formats. The M11's high-performance Bluetooth radio ensures you can transmit signals further with stronger overall signal strenght, so nothing can get in your way of enjoying quality wireless music. 

*At launch, the M11 as a receiver only supports SBC. Receiving LDAC will be enabled in a future firmware update.

A music player, but also a capable Bluetooth amplifier

When set to be in the Bluetooth receiver mode, the M11 transforms into a high-quality Bluetooth amplifier, with significantly better frequency response, as well lower distortion, noise floor, and crosstalk compared to typical Bluetooth solutions. On the top of that, the M11 can also output any received Bluetooth signals through the coaxial out to an external decoder. With the M11, you can enjoy truly divine sound over the wireless convenience of Bluetooth. 

Don't go without single-ended or balanced 2.5mm/3.5mm/4.4mm outputs all supported

We wanted to make sure you can listen however you want, so the M11 Pro SS has 2.5mm balanced, 3.5mm single-ended, and 4.4mm balanced outputs. Freely use and switch between the different outputs to listen however you want.

To minimize this problem, the M11 Pro SS supports both Qualcomm's QC2.0 and MediaTek's Pump Express fast charging standards, allowing the M11 to fully recharge its large battery in merely 2.5 hours! Open-source Android OS with switchable Android/Pure Music modes

The M11 features a deeply customized version of Android, with a highly optimized audio software architecture that circumvents SRC for global truly lossless audio. Unique to FiiO's custom version of Android is the ability to switch between Android and Pure Music modes - in Pure Music mode, only the built-in FiiO Music app is allowed to run, for the purest music listening experience possible.

Global ALL TO DSD functionality for a riveting experience

PCM -> DSD2.8M - With the All to DSD function on the M11 Pro SS all PCM audio signals will be converted to the DSD format.

When using All to DSD mode, any PCM audio signal is converted to DSD, and then decoded to analogue as a DSD digital signal - which results in a different, yet clear sound. And not just the built-in FiiO Music app supports this mode - all apps that can run on the M11 Pro SS do too.
